Sexual Wholeness for Women
Transformation from the Inside Out
Counselor Ellen Mary Dykas gently guides women struggling with sexual sin to the healing power and heart transformation of the gospel.
Women are sexual beings just as much as men are, however, they often experience an even “louder silence” regarding their sexual sin and temptation. Sexual brokenness often fills women with shame and confusion, and it takes a great amount of courage and humility to take the step forward and ask for support. With the help of the Holy Spirit, and the wisdom of God’s Word, women can experience transformation that works from the inside out to bring about a new life of freedom and joy.
In Sexual Wholeness for Women, Dykas, helps women move from shame and brokenness to healing and wholeness. This 12-session workbook, designed for use in discipleship relationships and small groups, will help women gain a deeper understanding of God’s good design for sexuality and the heart issues that are intertwined with their struggles. They will gain hope as they learn how finding their identity in Christ moves them away from harmful patterns toward lasting change in their thoughts, actions, and relationships.
Applicable to a wide range of struggles, including pornography, sexual addictions, adultery, same sex attraction, fantasies, masturbation, and unhealthy relationships. Compassionate, biblical lessons include readings and prompts for individual reflection as well as questions for group discussion and sharing. Practical leader’s notes assist mentors and group facilitators as they walk alongside women who are seeking freedom and healing through the gospel.
